ENGINEERING LAB INTERN | Space Construction Company

I contributed to the development of a lunar landing/launch pad technology demonstrator under NASA's SBIR contract. My role encompassed researching induction-heated lunar regolith simulant properties for optimal construction. I investigated glass-ceramic materials' transformation behavior during crystallization, devising experimental methods to enhance product quality through melting, sintering, and annealing. I overcame challenges in electromagnetic induction by refining coil geometry and crucible thickness, resulting in improved heat distribution. My efforts culminated in bricks exhibiting superior strength to NASA Kennedy Space Center's launch pad concrete, highlighted in a first-author publication at the Texas Area Planetary Science conference organized by the Lunar and Planetary Institute.

SYSTEM ENGINEERING INTERN | Space Architecture Design Company

I worked on the ExPod project, a system designed to mitigate the psychological stress imposed on astronauts by the constraining environment of spacecraft through immersive therapy. As the Systems Engineer, I created the structural design of the system and was involved in habitability and environmental design research. My responsibilities also involved strategic development for the product and successful product execution. We were selected finalists of the Care In Space Challenge hosted by Axiom Space.

ENGINEERING INTERN | Aerospace Manufacturer

My primary focus was the review and optimization of design processes. One of my major assignments was to redefine an existing process document where numerous technical nuances and regulations had to be correctly captured. After redefining the process, I organized a workshop to train the maintenance and engineering staff. I also contributed to developing new engineering process documents and structural reports.

PROJECT ENGINEERING INTERN | Aerospace Manufacturer

As the Project Manager for the Fine Rotary Actuator, designed by Thales Alenia Space and developed in cooperation with the European Space Agency, my responsibilities involved technical review, financial management, and international supplier relations. As a results-oriented leader of an international aerospace development project, I learned how to stay operationally efficient while facilitating the cooperation of national space agencies and private industry representatives. Under my leadership, the project successfully passed the Critical Design Review and transitioned from development phase 2 to phase 3.

CO-FOUNDER | Drone Traffic Safety Startup

As the winners of the GNSS category of the Space Application Hackathon, organized by the European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre, we were offered membership in the startup incubator. As a co-founder of the startup, my responsibilities included market analysis, legal affairs of the European UAV airspace, and business plan development.
