SCIENTIST-ASTRONAUT | AST101

The Scientist-Astronaut Program candidates are trained and qualified to participate in graduate specializations, become a space suit technician, or to fly to space as a PoSSUM Scientist-Astronaut. The graduates of the qualification program demonstrate an ability to withstand the stresses of space flight, which may include high acceleration or deceleration, microgravity, and vibration, in sufficient condition to carry out their duties safely.
